43 hours, a swipe of the badge, a bus ride to Cabinda…. and I’m definitely out of Malongo. eish. it’s been a good five hitches though… which became better when I met the rowdy, gorgeous, side-splitting gang of the "South African Mafia" aka SAM… ooops, I'm not supposed to say that (not about the mafia existence but the gorgeousness.. hah!). but really things whilst you’re locked in the camp are much more bearable and meaningful and lekker with friends who don’t give a shhh... friends who can (or pretend to) understand my accent… friends who surprise you with a good scare (they claim it’s good for the heart.. pffttt)… friends who send random IMs to make your day bright… friends who know how to share beer and smokes. family away from family. Here for you as you are here for them. Life that is strangely beautiful.
